warsaw philharmonic – 3. prize

The strong axes-based composition of the five existing buildings on the site is the historic and architectural framework for the new Warsaw Concert Hall. The concert hall adds to this composition by finishing off the end of a large courtyard. The crisp geometries of the new hall invoke the shapes of musical instruments.
