Hovden Fjellbad is a unique bathing destination inspired by the hydropower dams along the Otra River. Designed as an extension of the existing water park, it creates a spectacular outdoor bathing experience that elegantly connects the indoor facilities with the surrounding landscape in close harmony with nature.

The facility offers everything from a 25-metre training pool and diving tower to a children’s pool, water slides, and a dedicated wellness area with sauna and hot tub. The new 25-metre pool is designed for swim training and exercise, with several lanes providing ample space for effective workouts. For those seeking an extra thrill, there are diving platforms at 1, 3, and 5 metres.

Hovden Fjellbad also features a spectacular outdoor infinity pool – the Aqueduct – which stretches across the ski trail, allowing guests to swim while enjoying breathtaking views of the Otra River and the mountains Hovdenuten and Nos.

The wellness area offers a relaxing retreat with hot tubs, sauna, steam sauna, and a cold plunge pool. There is also a quiet lounge where, during holidays and on Saturdays, guests can enjoy cold drinks and light snacks.

Right by the riverbank lies the unique Otra Sauna, offering panoramic views of the river and surrounding mountains. This is an experience not to be missed. Nearby, you will find a welcoming family pool heated to a comfortable 30°C, designed for both play and relaxation. With a wide range of pool toys and activities, it provides hours of fun for children and adults alike. Guests can also try the 70-metre water slide, complete with a built-in timer.

The entire bathing experience is designed as a poetic landscape of indoor and outdoor pools, leading visitors from the entrance all the way to the wild waters of the Otra River. The architecture celebrates the many dams along the Otra, which generate renewable green energy and create a dramatic sequence of lakes through the valley.

Hovden Fjellbad is seamlessly integrated with the existing water park, creating one unified destination with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and landscape. The new Hovden Fjellbad is set to become a must-see attraction for visitors of all ages, both summer and winter.
