The Kopås town is planned with vernacular wooden houses playfully scaled to allow large, new multifamily dwellings to create a delightful and familiar skyline. Repetition and variation are carefully considered to provide a rhythm of high and low buildings. The master plan adapts the location of new structures to ensure that everyone has access to nature trails as well as long vistas towards the mountains and fjords.
