aarhus school of architecture – first stage winner

New Aarch is an expansion of the Aarhus School of Architecture. Prompted by extreme budget constraints, an efficient solution is proposed. A shed-like enclosure with enormous sliding doors creates a flexible space for studios, exhibitions, and events. Within this shell are three specific houses; one existing house on the site is preserved while a new glass house and a new wooden house are added to provide core functions. The project is selected as one of three winners of the open design competition, NEW AARCH.
